The Best Dessert Recipes Ever

BAKED PEARS in puff pastry with pear and DATE CHUTNEY 1 med. pear, peeled, cored and halved 1 jar Jennivine date chutney pear juice of 1 lemon Puff pastry 1 egg, beaten with 2 tbsp. cream (Glaze) Larger hear opening halves using small knife. Sprinkle lemon juice over pears. Arrange 1 pear cut side up diagonally in the center of each rectangle of puff pastry. Fill each pear with 3 tablespoons Jennivine pear and date chutney. Wrap around pear pastry, pushing through pastry mother and attaching pears completely. Moisten edges of dough with water and seal. Turn each pastry, seam side down. Brush with glaze. Refrigerate 1 / 2 hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pastry wrapped pears Brush again with glaze, decoratively arrange leaves in pears, and brush with glaze. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake until browned about 15 minutes. Transfer to a rack and cool slightly.
