How difficult is it to make food for 200 people?
We will have our wedding reception after our ceremony, which is to 7:45 pm, so just going to have a Dessert reception and that the people most likely to have eaten before the wedding. We are planning to have pudding banana, peach cobbler, biscuits, cakes, fried apple pies, fudge, etc. We have not served. How difficult it is for some 7 people to do this type of food for about 200 people? I'm thinking with chocolate and some things we can do a couple of days ahead. With the sweet, only going to buy the store bought, and then spray some ice and cinnamon and other things at the top, so you will not have to cook. I would like just buy, but the wedding is in the house of my grandparents and my grandmother loves to cook, and will not accept anything but the best of the best for a wedding! That is good, but do not think anyone realized how long banana pudding and peach cobbler will seat 200 people!
if you have the time and no help from their so difficult for my husband and I just made cookies, cakes and brownies for 100 people over Easter, which led us to a total of 18hrs. So gather your help and give everyone something to do also find out who has the least amount of time to make and implement the latter. You can also freeze all of it for about 2-3 weeks before. I would say the first thing is to make crackers, and chocolate chips, fingerprints, etc. right off the bat also double or triple the recipe. Do of bite-sized cookies so if 1 lot says he can do 24cookies can get about 36 or more than one lot. I would also say to make some tarts, buy the already made pie crust and then the day before the reception is mixed with milk to someone (chocolate, vanilla, banana w / sliced bananas) and fill the pie crust and refrigerate, you can also cheesecake by buying ready-made crust and filling the new Philadelphia cheese. (which is excellent, the taste like the real thing) Brownies easy to make one or two days before and you can always put ice on them or add nuts, chocolate, chocolate chips to add some fun. Rice Crispy squares are great for treating bulk can also add peanut butter, chocolate, nuts, almost anything that comes to mind with the mixture of marshmallow, once their gooey. otherwise good and easy fruit salad is a lot of outlets and fruit pieces and then add the whipped cream on the side. Jello is another great gift to choose two flavors and the time to do the boiling water and then instead of adding cold water add the clear cold cream soda, ginger ale or soda to add a little of excitement to them then after refrigerated diced and combined the two flavors together in a bowl. Hope this helps. otherwise be given more time timed task to the person with more time available.
